      <title>"Euthanasia" by cwl</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;A submission was made to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee totally opposing the Rights of the Terminally Ill (Euthanasia Laws Repeal) Bill 2008.
Once again we see the proponents of euthanasia obfuscating language to pull at the heart strings of people to achieve their aim which is to legalise the right for physicians to kill people. As stated in the submission, the late Dutch euthanasia opponent, Dr. Karl Gunning said:&amp;#8221;Once killing is seen as the answer to one problem, it soon becomes the answer to 100&amp;#8221;.
Was euthanasia the so called &amp;#8216;freedom&amp;#8217; that our young men fought and died for during the war? The answer is NO. They died to save us from the &amp;#8216;culture of death&amp;#8217;.
Australia does not need to re-invent what was condemned 60 years ago. It was wrong then and it is wrong now.&lt;/p&gt;
